At the beginning of April, we traveled to Montreal & spent 4 days with a lot of coffee and beer recording our forthcoming debut album with engineer Darwin Baker. In that time, Phil Creamer (Here On Out) paid a visit to the apartment we were recording in, and filmed us playing a few songs. Here's the audio from that session to give you a little taste of Bull Kelp while you wait for the proper album to get mixed and mastered and released and all that business. Enjoy!

Bull Kelp is Taylor Ashton and Zoe Guigueno. The two played together in the five-piece band Fish & Bird for two years, and when Zoe left that band the two formed Bull Kelp as a way to keep playing together and to play new tunes in a sparse musical setting.
